Nestled in the Theatre District of Downtown Houston and a short walk away from the courthouse, Lyric Centre is the best combination of work and the arts. Nearby theaters include the Alley Theater, the Wortham Theater, the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts, and Jones Hall. The Lyric Centre boasts about being an accessible location of architectural excellence and also a premiere business address for attorneys and law firms alike. The scope of services conducted by FMG included exterior and interior garage graphics.

Under the management of Ryan Keen, I was given the task of designing large supergraphics and ADA signage for the Lyric Center Garage. My vision for the garage was to divide its levels into the disciplines that are popular within the Theatre District area. For instance, the 2nd level featured a large mask to symbolize the theatre, the 4th level featured a large pair of the ballet shoes without showing the dancers, and etc. The idea was to focus on the important elements of the discipline itself, rather than to make the graphics too busy by revealing the whole picture. Of course, we also assigned a color per level for wayfinding purposes.
