I think it's important to take a moment to understand just how much teamwork is needed and relied upon in the experiential design world. I have been an experiential designer for about ten years now, and I have yet to see a project leave an office that hasn't passed through multiple hands and been under the influence of several different opinions. There really isn't any room for "I" mentality in this profession unless the project is extremely small, but a designer isn't a fabricator and can not technically take full and complete credit for any of these types of projects. By the same token, some project managers rely a great deal on the design staff's talent and personal time to develop a reputation for efficiently managing and completing projects on schedule. I am and will always be a firm believer in giving everyone on a team project credit for their part in it while respecting their personal time throughout the project as well.
