BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Highland Village has been Houston's most distinctive and appealing retail venue, home to a carefully edited collection of upscale boutiques, national retailers, and restaurateurs.
I keep this project in my portfolio because it became my gateway to experiential design. This was one of my first projects I worked on at Hill Design, right out of school. I designed the main construction fence, some of the signs mounted in the garage, and the brochure for the shopping center. I drew the background pattern and leaves in Illustrator and created the full layout in Photoshop. This project earned me my next position at FMG Design and opened my eyes to a completely new genre forever.
